Adrian Grainger FCA, BSc (Hons), ARCS (Director)

Adrian trained with BDO Binder Hamlyn (now part of Deloitte) in Birmingham after joining as a graduate trainee in 1988. He joined Griffiths & Pegg in 1992 and became a partner in 1995.

He concentrates substantially on corporate accounting, auditing and taxation. He also has varied experience in personal taxation, enquiries, financial forecasts and looks after all new business and the marketing of the practice.

He is married with two children, two step-children and one grandson. His main leisure pursuits are travel, football (West Ham United), watching his sporting clients play and music (Marillion).

Brendan Forde (Associate)

Brendan joined in February 2024 having previously trained and worked in practice and has been working in the industry for the past 20 years. His main role within the firm is portfolio management and is a taxation advisor.

He is married with two children. He is a keen football fan playing 5 a side each week and enjoys running having completed two marathons.

Steven Barber FCCA (Associate)

Steve joined Griffiths & Pegg in June 2008 studying ACCA alongside full time work. Steve previously attended King Edwards College studying Pure Maths and Stats, Accounting and Economics.

He is now a fellow of the association here at Griffiths & Pegg. Steve’s main role in the firm is Accounting and Taxation primarily looking after our Darts clients.

His hobbies include going to the gym, watching football and food.

Andrew Thomas BA(Hons) (Associate)

Andrew joined Griffiths & Pegg in 1983 after completing a degree in Accountancy at Preston Polytechnic. He trained with the firm and became ACCA qualified in 1993.

His main role with the firm is accounting and taxation for small and medium sized companies.

He is married with two children and his main hobby is bird watching.

Dawn Harris FCCA (Associate)

Dawn joined Griffiths & Pegg in 1985 after her A Level studies. She trained with the firm and became ACCA qualified in 1992.

Her main roles with the firm are auditing, accounting and taxation for small and medium sized companies.

She also does a substantial amount of personal taxation work.

Rachel Fellows FCCA (Associate)

Rachel joined Griffiths & Pegg in February 2012. Rachel became ACCA qualified in 2001 and did the majority of her training with a local practice. She also spent 19 months with a Taxation Practice specialising in the Sports, Film & Entertainment sector overseeing the accounts, corporation tax, book keeping, company secretarial and VAT department.

Rachel’s main role within the firm is accounting, auditing and corporate taxation for small and medium sized owner managed businesses. Rachel oversees a client portfolio and is also responsible for the medium sized audit group clients of the practice and the technical compliance of the firm.

Hobbies include travel, running and her beloved Welsh Terrier.
